Scientific conference on Metal, Nanoparticles and Organisms (MNO) on April 1st, 2016 at the Technopôle méditerranéen de l'Arbois, Aix-en- Provence.
This day will be organized in two sessions of a half-day :
Session 1 – Metals and nanoparticles : molecular Interactions
- Changes and interactions of metal, and nanoparticles within the organisms, which molecules can be modified and how it occurs
- Changes and interactions of metals and nanoparticles in the environment, which changes can occur at the molecular level and their consequences.
Session 2 – Metals and nanoparticles : interactions with organisms and the environment
- Effects of metals and nanoparticles in ecosystems, on organisms and on different environments.
- Ecotoxicological approach and studies to improve the products currently used to make them better adapted to ecosystems – safe by design.
The day will start with two invited speakers, followed by ten oral communications, and will end with a panel discussion around the subject nanoparticles and the environment.
A poster presentation will be rewarded by the best poster award.
