Nanotechnologies, Safer by Design and Business Development
The main objective of the PEI 2 is to offer workforce development and industry training opportunities for initial skill development, technical upgrading, and professional advancement of workers in a fast growing field. The business performance and productivity enhancement will benefit from tailored training, workshops, seminars, and open enrolment classes.SERENADE’s PEI 2 will focus on the implementation of a Specialist Master’s degree (Novancia Business School Paris) dedicated to graduates and offering both double skills and professional training in an emerging role. The Specialists Master’s "Safe-by-design innovation and Business Development" will benefit from the partners’ expertise to train managers of companies in relation with nanotechnology (producers or users).
A collaboration with the EDHEC Business School of Nice was also developped in 2017 , with the elaboration of business case study on sunscreen for the Edhec students.

In the same context, it is essential to certify the best practices in terms of occupational risk and health mainly concerning nano-workstations. SERENADE will benefit from initiatives concerning the Nano-Cert approach (INERIS).
Nanotechnologies, Ecodesign, Innovation and Strategy (NEIS) Chair
The NEIS Chair is funded by the SERENADE LABEX and is hosted at Novancia Business School Paris, a French Grande Ecole of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce specializing in Business Development.
