In the context of the Labex SERENADE and the European Program PROSAFE, Dr. Ndeke Musee will give a seminar on "A decade of nanotechnology risk assessment initiatives with specific reference to South Africa: past, present and future directions », the 14th of November at CEREGE (Aix en Provence). 

 

Ndeke Musee is an employee of the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and holds an Associate Professorship in Chemical Engineering Department since February 2015 in the same university. He currently lectures a postgraduate course on environmental implications of nanotechnology. His research interest is on the fate, behavior and effects of nanotechnology-associated products and materials in the environmental systems where he employs both experimental and modelling approaches. Ndeke currently supervises several postgraduate students’ research on risk assessment of nanotechnology in the environmental systems, and also serves in several committees (national and international) as a technical advisor.
