Le comité de pilotage du C’Nano1, Centre national de compétences en Nanosciences du CNRS, a le plaisir de vous annoncer la deuxième édition de son congrès national, les 11, 12 et 13 Décembre 2018 au Palais des congrès Neptune de Toulon. Ces journées seront organisées autour de sessions plénières et thématiques situées à l’interface des communautés scientifiques en nanobiologie, nanomédecine, nanochimie, nanométrologie, nanoenvironnement, nanophotonique et nanoélectronique.
Nous voulons faire de ce congrès un lieu de rencontre privilégié pour les échanges interdisciplinaires et le suivi de l’actualité scientifique de pointe dans les différents domaines de recherche concernés par les nanos.

1Le réseau national C'Nano est une unité de service du CNRS (UPS 2000), qui entreprend des actions de promotion de la recherche en nanosciences et en nanotechnologies. Avec l’aide de ses 6 bureaux territoriaux (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Grand-Est, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grand Sud-Ouest, Nord-Ouest et Ile-de-France) C’Nano œuvre sur l’ensemble du territoire français. A travers des partenariats d’échanges entre des communautés scientifiques pluridisciplinaires au niveau national et international, son action stimule la créativité nécessaire à l’émergence de projets et de technologies de rupture.

The steering committee of the French national CNRS competenciy cluster in Nanosciences, C’Nano1, is glad to announce the second edition of its national congress from December 11th to 13th, 2018 in Palais des Congrès Neptune of Toulon. Plenary as well as parallel sessions will be programmed on topics at the interface between scientific communities in nanobiology, nanomedicine, nanochemistry, nanometrology, nanoenvironment, nanophotonics and nanoelectronics.
We want to make this congress a special meeting place for interdisciplinary exchanges and scientific news on cutting-edge research in various nano-related research fields.

In recent years, nanotechnologies have led to undeniable progress in any domains, such as electronics, materials and medicine. Despite the benefits of such a technology, a careful assessment of the potential risks for Human and Environmental health have to be studied. Assessing exposure and hazard to nanomaterials is a major challenge in the field of environmental sciences.
