Development of a real-time information and monitoring system to support the risk assessment of nanomaterial under REACH
Registration for the Safe Nanotechnology – Risk management, exposure and regulatory challenges workshop is now extended to 4 October!
The workshop will introduce the exposure and risks arising from exposure to particulates including nanomaterials. It will then discuss the current status of the NanoMONITOR project allowing delegates to have the opportunity to test and provide feedback on the prototype and the data acquisition software. Finally, attendees will learn about the latest regulatory developments affecting nanomaterials in the EU and worldwide, including guidance the best tools available to meet these obligations.

Despite the benefits of such a technology, a careful assessment of the potential risks for Human and Environmental health have to be studied. Assessing exposure and hazard to nanomaterials is a major challenge in the field of environmental sciences.
