Sophie Bonifay Pekar is the holder of an executive MBA focused on leading change and nnovation, a master's degree in finance (DESS, Master 2 "Finance d’entreprise et de marché"), and a post-graduate accounting and finance degree (DESCF: Diplome d’Etudes Supérieures Comptables et Financières). She has also completed the 3 year internship of a chartered accountant. Before joining the Labex she worked primarily in the private sector, in particular in an international financial audit and consulting firm and in an international private bank. She started her work at the Paul-Cézanne University (Aix-Marseille III) in 2005 as a Research Engineer in order to implement finance control. In 2008 she
became the Financial Director. Since 2012 she has been the Administrative Director of the Labex OT-Med and Serenade, and also has been in
charge of outreach activities.
