ENHANCE project

The aim of the project is to develop new hybrid nanopesticides (HnPs) obtained from biosourced carbonbased materials (chitin, cellulose, chitosan, alginate, carboxymethylcellulose) and inorganic nanoparticles with antibacterial properties (Ag and Cu) and unveils the mechanisms of interaction of HnPs with non-targeted organisms such as soil microorganisms and plants and their efficiency as antimicrobials formulations. From this study we intend to obtain safer, ecofriendly alternatives to pesticides.
