"I work on a project aiming at getting closer to a complete picture of mineral growth processes in burial conditions, focusing on inter-grain growth processes at the atomic scale. I am particularly fascinated to understand rock-water interactions, mainly in mineral dissolution and precipitation, but also in the effects of organic additives on these phenomena. My approach involves an innovative experimental method for investigating the chemo-mechanical conditions on growth, and the study of dissolution at the atomic scale cross-linking batch and flow-through experiments."
