Ali is promoted by the University of Aix Marseille as a postdoctoral researcher to join CEREGE’s "sustainable environment"research group, Aix en Provence. His position is funded by the European Commission as part of the H2020 NanoInformaTIX project. NanoInformaTIX is a 6 million project that aims to create a comprehensive, sustainable and multi-scale framework for modelling the exposure and ecotoxicity of manufactured nanomaterials (ENM) to facilitate cost-effective risk assessment, less dependent on animal testing, and to support the design of safer materials and products. Specifically, Ali’s missions are based on the:

• Development and implementation of databases relating to the SERENADE and NanoInfomatiX projects. 
• Proposition of a flexible and multi-perspective ontological framework.
• Working on a workflow for ontological development and maintenance, update of Nano-ontologies.
