The next iron ore conference, Iron Ore 2019, will be held in Perth on 22-24 July 2019. Once again the conference is being jointly organised by The AusIMM and CSIRO, and is the latest in a well-established and very successful international conference series featuring the latest developments in the genesis, geology, mining and processing of iron ores, including new projects under development. Last time in 2017 we had around 500 registered delegates from around the world attending the conference. The Theme of Iron Ore 2019 is “Optimising Value”, which is particularly relevant in the current challenging climate of iron ore prices.
The Call for Abstracts for Iron Ore 2019 has commenced, so I would like to personally invite you and your colleagues to consider submitting one or a number of abstracts for the conference. A copy of the formal Call for Abstracts is attached, the deadline for submitting abstracts being 17 September 2018.
