Ce programme, lancé par l'Ambassade de France aux Etats-Unis et la fondation FACE, vise à encourager et soutenir la collaboration des jeunes chercheurs français et américains les plus prometteurs et à promouvoir les projets innovants de recherche conjointe.
Chaque projet collaboratif franco-américain sélectionné recevra un montant maximum de $20,000 sur deux ans.
Les candidatures sont acceptées dans les trois domaines suivants : Sciences Humaines et Sociales (SHS), Science, Technologie, Ingénierie, Mathématiques (STIM), Sciences pour la Société (projets interdisciplinaires STIM-SHS).
Dans la continuité de l'initiative « Make Our Planet Great Again » lancée par le président Emmanuel Macron en Juin 2017, le Thomas Jefferson Fund propose cette année des financements supplémentaires pour les projets sur les sujets de recherche suivants : Science du Système Terrestre, Changement climatique et Développement durable, Transition énergétique.

The Thomas Jefferson Fund's Franco-American call for projects is open until March 5, 2019 at noon (EST).
This program, launched by the French Embassy in the United States and the FACE Foundation, aims to encourage and support the collaboration of the most promising young French and American researchers and to promote innovative joint research projects.
Each selected Franco-American collaborative project will receive a maximum amount of $20,000 over two years.
Applications are accepted in the following three areas: Human and Social Sciences (HSS), Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Sciences for Society (interdisciplinary STEM-HSS projects).
Following on from the "Make Our Planet Great Again" initiative launched by President Emmanuel Macron in June 2017, the Thomas Jefferson Fund is offering additional funding this year for projects on the following research topics: Earth System Science, Climate Change and Sustainable Development, Energy Transition.
