The School and Conference on Analysis of Diffraction Data in Real Space (ADD2016) will take place from 7 to 11 March 2016 on the EPN campus in Grenoble, France.

The progamme includes 8 lectures for the 2-day School that includes 4 different hands-on training sessions for using data-analysis software, followed by 8 invited speakers or the 2-day Conference that will also include short talks and posters chosen from the submitted abstracts.

The deadline for abstract submission (short-talk or poster) is the 21st January, and the deadline for registration is to 15th February. It is possible to register for only the School, only the conference, or both. Please note that there is a limited number of rooms available in the on-site guesthouse accommodation.

Both the School and the Conference aim to bring together and to further the training of the various communities working on real-space data analysis for neutron, x-ray and other diffraction techniques.

This includes powder diffraction and pair-distribution function (PDF) analysis, liquids and glasses diffraction, and single-crystal diffuse scattering. These techniques are well-adapted to probing structure on the nano-scale, and therefore can be valuable for studying new materials.

Abstracts dealing with other structural probes such as EXAFS, NMR, etc, are also welcome.

More information, including on-line registration and the template for abstract submission, can be found on the following webpage.
