9th international "Water and Health" seminar for PhD Students sponsored by SUEZ
The objective of this seminar is to provide young researchers with the opportunity to present their work and discuss their results with other students working in the same field, and with senior academic and industrial researchers, in the relaxed atmosphere of the French Riviera.
20 PhD students will be hosted in Cannes (France) during 3 days (accomodation payed by SUEZ).
An award will be attributed by the scientific committee to the student bringing the best contribution to the advancement of water safety.

In recent years, nanotechnologies have led to undeniable progress in any domains, such as electronics, materials and medicine. Despite the benefits of such a technology, a careful assessment of the potential risks for Human and Environmental health have to be studied. Assessing exposure and hazard to nanomaterials is a major challenge in the field of environmental sciences.
