Childcare

To assist delegates with younger children (up to age 13), the conference has arranged to host onsite, subsidized childcare. This will run within the Hynes Center Monday-Friday and should be booked in advance. The childcare will be provided by Kiddie Corp, a national organization with excellent references used to working in this type of setting. You can find links to the Kiddie Corp booking forms on the Family Friendly page of the website.

Code of Conduct

In order to promote a collaborative and respectful environment for all Goldschmidt attendees, the Geochemical Society has adopted a code of conduct for the conference. By putting into writing the existing expectations it is hoped that the warm invitation to the groups traditionally less well represented at the conference is emphasised.

Grants

Even with great value accommodation available the costs of attending a conference are significant. Goldschmidt has a proud tradition of offering support to students and particularly to students from low-income economies. Please read the eligibility criteria here to see if you qualify. All applicants must have submitted an abstract as presenting author.

Field trips

You can extend the networking opportunities presented by the conference by taking one of the field trips arranged by local committee members and volunteers. Taking in whale watching, forestry centres and beautiful New Hampshire, there is plenty to generate interest.
